Good Morning, this is Michael De Rosa and today I want to talk with you about objections. My text will Exodus 3:11
But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?”
Prior to Moses’ question to God, we find the Israelite nation under Egyptian oppression and crying out for relief. God responds to their cries and his plan for deliverance includes Moses.
How often do we cry out to God in the midst of problems only to throw up roadblocks to His answer because we don’t want to get involved.
Moses, like many others, is questioning his qualifications instead of being concerned with God’s call.
But God is relentless in seeing His answers materialize, and will move heaven and earth so that people will be cared for as He is glorified. To question our place in the midst of hearing God’s call not only robs us of joy, but produces stress in us, and short-changes our service to others.
The question will never be to you, Will you be called by God?
Rather, the question is “How will you respond?”
Blessings on your Journey
-Michael
