We will be looking at 2 Corinthians 5:8
We are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord
Regardless of the problems you encounter, have you found in Christ how these struggles do not need to cripple your walk of faith? Have you discovered the joy that comes from knowing that your struggles do not define your calling as a child of God.
Oh, friend, while your concerns are painful, and the consequences may indeed last longer than desired, God is telling you here that there is a dimension to living that He has for you that dwarfs even the greatest intensity of any struggle!
This blessed reality, while already granted in Christ, can only be worked out in your life by the due diligence of drawing nearer to God.
Let me pray now for you:
Lord help my brothers and sisters see the time You always are giving them to be with you and create such a desire within them to carve out those moments of the day to worship You in spirit and to know this blessed truth
