psalm-119-143Good morning, this is Michael De Rosa from the Mountainside Community Church in north Newport. The other day I came across an interesting verse, which is Psalm 119:143

Trouble and anguish have come upon me,
Yet Your commandments are my delight.

I would like for you to note the contrast, here, between the sufferings and the joy of God’s law.

Living like this, my friend, will be a witness to others who will see a confident and peace-filled individual in the wake of conflict.

Of course, you can’t do this. You…and I, can’t muster up enough inner strength and wisdom to know the in’s and out’s of the best way of navigating through the trouble, let alone the myriad number of challenges that can quickly become offshoots of this problem.

I read this quote the other day and it goes like this: Jesus is all you need when Jesus is all you got.

While we heartedly embrace this truth, there is nothing like a heap of trouble in our laps that will bring about the opportunity to lean desperately on Jesus.

Remember this, during our difficult times, our character is being revealed wheter or not we are conscious of this.

Who do others see, when they look at you when you are having trials?

Blessings on Your Journey to and with JESUS!

-Michael
