Ephesians 2:17:

So Christ came and preached the Good News of peace to all—to you Gentiles, who were far away from God, and to the Jews, who were near to him.

This peace does not mean the absence of conflict; rather it signifies hat all the essential parts are joined together.  It conveys completeness.  It is God’s gift of wholeness

And this Gospel of Peace reconciled the Jews and the Gentiles by exposing the restless strivings in both groups to God’s promise of completeness through Christ’s redemptive work

And as with the Jews and Gentiles of Biblical days, we too are restlessly striving to find our place in life by leaning on  our ideas of what is right and necessary.

But all our efforts to be reconciled with one another are really but vain attempts to idolize our own principles.

So, in closing, let me ask you this question:  what do you need to do to let go our your sacred cows of right and wrong in order to receive Christ’s Gospel of Peace
