While I know there are things in this world that have caused some to be skeptical towards accepting God’s presence, I realize that there is sufficient evidence that can leave an honest person considering that there is a God
Our Scripture is Psalm 19:1 and 2, and it reads:
The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge.
The word “Glory” here literally means weighty, valuable, important. One author described God’s glory as the invasion of God’s reality into the human sphere”
So, let’s look at one important piece of evidence that would give an honest person pause to consider God’s presence in this world.
- Our Earth’s distance from the Sun is just right to sustain life. If the yearly average temperature of the earth changed even a few degrees we would either be burned alive or frozen!
Now, weigh this against another fact, that our Earth has had an enormous amount of time since life began to veer off its orbit in order for these right conditions for life to be destroyed.
