23 The church is Christ’s body, the completion of him who himself completes all things everywhere.
Though society, in general, regards church as optional, God has brought her forth to be instrumental to His divine purpose. Consider with me, that God’s word tells us that the church is the completion of Christ!
- By seeking after and welcoming in the marginalized in our society
- By bearing up with those who are weak in faith by becoming their spiritual fathers and mothers
- By being more concerned for the interests of others than for yourself
- By not judging those who are differently dressed, but by understanding their reasons for being in worship
- By being willing to encourage one another in your congregations to the point of seeing them restored from their temptations
Friend, this list is simply not exhaustive, but will help us to be more mindful of what we need to do, and what wea need to allow happen in order for the church to be complete in Christ.
