Psalm 37:14
The wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bow to take down the afflicted and the needy, to kill off those who are upright in conduct.
If this verse was not tethered to the rest of Scripture, we would have little hope.
Now, one word of caution: do not stereotype what the wicked looks like because wickedness is not based on appearance or behaviors. Rather, it is based on enmity towards God.
And while we can pray to be spared from such enmity – as Christ prayed the same- our ultimate prayer needs to be for our Father’s will to be done. Regardless.
My friends, if you have not discovered this yet, our Christian faith will be tested and whenever it is found insufficient for the things we are going through, than I want you to know that the same God who saved You is more than able to deepen your faith walk with Christ
And, so, when you see that wickedness approaching, stand firm and allow God’s glory to witness through your life.
