Today we will look at 2 Corinthians 5:2:
For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven,
I want you to to note a couple of things here:
First, this groaning referred to here is continual…and will not let up until the day that we pass from this earth into the next life.
And, secondly, if you are a Christian, your reason for groaning is this:
Because you know that something better is coming
And, another way to look at this groaning, Christian friend, is as a witness of God’s love for us, that He is preparing something far better for us.
So, we are living between two worlds! On the one hand, our 5 senses are immersed in experiencing this here and now; on the other hand, our spirits -while recognizing this present age- are continually reminding us of our eternal home.

In light of all this, “Why, then do people live life as though there is no tomorrow?
