2 Corinthians 5:16

Today, we will be looking at 2 Corinthians 5:16

Therefore from now on we recognize no one according to the flesh; even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him in this way no longer.

God sees each one of us as individuals whom have been created to have a rich and full life as disciples of Christ

So let me tell you the story about Brenda as an example of the practical implications of this Scripture verse.

Brenda is a young woman who gets along with a walker and whose speech is slurred with occasional spit. At first glance, people, at best, feel awkward, around her; and, at worst, they avoid her

Yet, if you can get past her spit and listen to what she has to say you will hear the voice of a warrior, who knows her limitations, is a lover of Jesus, and who champions the rights of others who are disabled.

Now, this ability to recognize people as God does, is a gift to you as a Christian, and, when we declare this reality of God’s magnificent handiwork in our day to day interactions with others, God will be glorified

Blessings on your day,

-Michael
