They give drink to every beast of the field;
The wild donkeys quench their thirst.
The waters which God created are clean, refreshing, and quench the thirst of all who come to drink
And as His water invigorates our bodies, we need water from Heaven -God’s Holy Word- to refresh our spirits
And no one has to look far to see how much we need spiritual refreshment, spiritual rest for the everyday stresses we face are staggering, such as the pandemic, and the attempts to erode Biblical Truth from the face of our nation. .
And this rest that we all want runs much deeper than a better vaccine or new leadership
This rest we seek is a hope-filled expectation that regardless of what is happening that Someone has a plan to bring order out of the chaos, and peace and wholeness to our beings
Such rest, friend, comes from the living water of God, found in and through Jesus Christ alone.
