With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints,
Praying in the Spirit comes about as we allow God to lead us during our prayer time. So with that in mind let me ask us a question:
- how much time do we listen to God’s voice as we pray versus trying to remember or complete a list of prayer concerns that others gave us?
Friend, I believe that our most effective time of praying is when we sense a complete helplessness in the presence of our Sovereign God.
For, consider this: since God is sovereign and aptly able and willing and loving to save us from a life of sin, might He also be sovereign over each one of those prayers and petitions of ours
So…why NOT listen to His leading!
