John 9:4 "Night is Coming"

Good Morning, this is Michael De Rosa, and our Scripture is found in John 9:4 (NASB)

We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long

as it is day; night is coming when no one can work

While we are doing our best to become more vigilant by way of finding avenues of service by which we help our fellow man to understand the gospel in the immediate context in which he finds himself, we are realizing that one day this opportunity will be gone, thus the “night is coming when no one will work”

Now, there is a word of caution to see here in the context of the entire 9th chapter, and that is to not get side tracked with trying to figure out too much BEFORE you start serving others.

For instance, the disciples were caught up in knowing how the man came about being blind; Jesus was all about making the Gospel practical.

We, too, can easily get distracted with the how’s and why’s of a person’s situation and end up not sharing the power of the gospel.

Remember, night is coming. Your opportunity to tell others about Jesus will one day be gone.

Make your time count.

Blessings on your journey,

-Michael
