Mercy and Grace

This is Michael De Rosa and I would like to direct your attention to Hebrews 4:16:

Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Notice that we are told that the direct efforts of our approaching God’s throne is encountering his mercy and grace.

Now, here is the kicker:

It is our natural tendency to want to get right to the heart of the matter that alleviates our problem…and any type of seeming delay –like waiting for mercy and grace is just to tedious

But, in closing consider this, my friend, only when we come to that place where we experience both our unworthiness before God, and our immense gratitude for His salvation, will we truly understand and experience the help He seeks to give at just the right moment

And the only way to encounter his mercy and grace is to consider how you became Christian. More about that next week.

Blessings on your Journey

-Michael
