2 Corinthians 5-15 Living FreelyMorning friends.   This is Michael DeRosa. Let’s look at 2 Corinthians 5:15

and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.

The word here for ‘live’ means far more than hitting every milestone that you ever wanted in your life.

One author has labeled this word ‘life’ as ‘resurrection life’. Let’s explore this!

First, living for Him necessitates not just our conversion from that moment we received forgiveness for our sins, but a daily transformation of thoughts and behaviors as He shows us how to filter them through God’s word.

Secondly, the phrase ‘what would Jesus do’ that has been etched into bracelets is now becoming more deeply etched upon our minds and hearts as we are learning to precede our decisions with prayers for His guidance.

So, this type of life now becomes a daily reflecting upon God’s word in order to see how He will impact our life in the moment

So our greatest question in life is simply this ‘Who are we living for?’

Our answer will have eternal consequences!
