Psalm 37:13:
The Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming.
This verse refers to our Lord’s reaction to any and all of evil’s attempts to destroy His children. Ain’t happening. Our Father is not loosing any sleep over their antics.
And neither should we
Now, I will never tell you that we will not be scarred in our battle with Evil because God’s Word does not tell us this. But, hear me out in this: Way too often we begin to needlessly worry when suffering comes our way.
Take for instance, our current pandemic: one too many Christians are putting their lives on hold, waiting for the day when all this will be over; and, in doing this they miss out on opportunities to share God’s love with others.
So, when others mock your Christian faith, or try to lure you towards lustful experiences, or try to make you feel as if you are the last man standing up for God, remember God’s laughter because He sees their day coming.
