
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
As as young man, I eagerly wanted to know God’s will but came to the conclusion that this was shrouded in too much complexity to ever be attainable here and now. And, yet, I still hungered to know His plans for my life.
Now, much older, I find that, at least, most people, regardless of their beliefs, are hungering for the same: to know fulfillment by living for a purpose…to know God’s will for them.
So, during the following weeks, I will do my best to dive into this text to help us discover and recover the profoundly simply and totally powerful truth that we not only really can know God’s will, but that He desires us to do so.
