Psalm 37:29
The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.

When was the last time you thought about your heavenly inheritance? Will we meet up with old friends? Will we see those whom we thought would never make it? Or, might we just talk about Jesus, as we come to fully realize how He sustained us throughout our earthly pilgrimage?

I dare say that I won’t be surprised if we are eternally flabbergasted at the wonders of God’ grace and mercy because of His love for us.

Yet, the thought of dying to receive this inheritance can be fearful, but consider this: the same joy we had when we met Christ for the first time as Lord and Savior will only be intensified when we see Him face to face.

So try looking at leaving this earth not so much as letting go of all we knew, but of becoming more aware of hanging on to all we will become because of Jesus.
