Today I want to address the only way to remain hopeful in this life. My text will be 1 Corinthians 5:2-3

2 Corinthians 5:2-3For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven, 3 inasmuch as we, having put it on, will not be found naked.

This life can all too often be taxing upon us. Regardless of the number of good days we have, we all experience the aches and pains of living

But, God has not left us alone in all this. Sure, the reality is -as cited here in Scripture- is that we groan. Yet, there is a deeper reality than this. Namely, this groaning that we all experience is temporary.

And for the Christian, this groaning we go through is our wake-up call, our reminder, that something better is coming; namely, that this life is only a prelude to the life that God has waiting for us in Heaven. And, when we dust off that perspective in order to embrace that hope, we will then find ourselves experiencing the reality that we won’t be found naked.

So the next time, you are struggling consider it a reminder that something better is coming. Infinitely better. And, then, live in that Hope.
