Good day, this is Michael De Rosa, and we will be looking at Isaiah 55:9, which reads
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts
Let me give another example of the contrast of God’s thoughts and our thought:
Recently, I have been in a spiritual desert: thirsting for answers that I can not figure out and without anyone who understands. Yet, the only thing I do know is this. God is with me.
This place is full of mixtures of frustrating times and joy-finding endeavors as I am being challenged to let go of all that brings me comfort and security in order to step into the engulfing waves of God’s presence.
My thoughts on all this are simply not adequate to make any sense of it; and yet the Lord knows my need, and He alone is and will liberate me from my inadequacies as I breathe in His thoughts of grace and mercy and love
In closing, none of us would want to go into such a desert, but when it comes to you, I encourage you to embrace it so that the truth of this Scripture would sink deeper into your life.
