Good day. This is Michael De Rosa from the Mountainside Community Church in Newport, New Hampshire and my text is Ephesians 1:19:
19 You will also know the unlimited greatness of his power as it works with might and strength for us, the believers.
Friend, I have met one too many Christians who have developed a tunnel vision in understanding God’s unlimited greatness of power as only being those mountaintop experiences of miracles, signs, and wonders.
But is that all there is?
Consider:
In salvation, one’s change of mindset from longing for worldly pleasures to seeking Heavenly treasures?
or, in everyday living, experiencing peace in the midst of others’ strife?
Now mountaintop experiences of God’s power are pretty exhilerating, but never at the expense of forgetting His presence
What I am saying is this: when you pray seek a deeper encounter with God Himself. The miracles, the signs and wonders will be a natural outflow of your abiding in Him.
