It is possible to hear His voice (John 10:27). Let me give you some ideas on how to do this.
Try this during one of your next devotional times: review the Names for God, but don’t just read them, ponder what they mean. Let me give you an example
God Sees: “El Roi”
Regardless of the situation, He sees it all:
Then she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees”; for she said, “Have I even remained alive here after seeing Him?” 14 Therefore the well was called Beer-lahai-roi; behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.
Genesis 16:13-14 New American Standard Bible
Consider, now, that God sees your present situation, whether it is good or bad. Because God is aware of this, how might this affect the manner in which you handle it.
God is Powerful: “El Shaddai”
No matter how overpowering another person is, God is in control; He is Almighty:
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1 New American Standard Bible
Though He is Almighty, there are situations that present themselves that would cause us to question His power. What are these? How would dwe come over there about 10lling in His Presence help you? What could you do to dwell more in His presence?
Doing exercises like this will aid you in developing your God-given spiritual discernment to hear God’s direction in your life
Blessings on your Journey
