Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.
The letter ends with GRACE…Unmerited forgiveness. This entire letter continually reminds us of our great need for a deep relationship with Jesus that is only possible through God’s sustaining grace
And how much we need GRACE today…for we are witnessing an insidious uprising of EVIL to the point where people are becoming slowly desensitized from knowing or caring about this great truth. Rather, we find one too many individuals with a broken image of themselves and, unfortunately live their lives according to that perspective
Yet, experiencing God’s grace will have a twofold blessing: on one hand it will give us the peace and strength to recognize recognize our own brokenness, and on the other hand it points us to the indescribable love that our Heavenly Father has for us.
In closing, let me leave you with this thought: the hardest part of receiving God’s grace is to let go of our pride.
