The mountains rose; the valleys sank down
To the place which You established for them.
Just as God has purposefully established the mountains, the valleys, and all of his creation, so He does so with us.
God appoints us to a calling; He has prepared for us a lifestyle that is fulfilling.
Just think of the majesty of the Rocky Mountains or the Hudson Valley in New York State; and consider that the same Eternally Powerful, Loving, Wise, All Knowing God who created them with such splendor has created you too with such beauty.
And, yet, I admit, we too often see our problems and can’t even begin to entertain a thought that we were wonderfully made.
But as the mountains and the valleys have evolved over time, enduring erosion, and weathering all sorts of storms, our lives have been on similar journeys of enduring things that have worn us down and of weathering the stresses of life.
Take time to marvel at who God made you to be.
