We will be looking at 2 Corinthians 5:19
namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Paul now goes on to elaborate on what he wrote in the previous verse and here it is: our sins are no longer held against us.
Let’s say, friend, that during this time of COVID 19, you are saddled with worries. Worries about you job, your home. And, then, you get a letter from a lawyer’s office that informs you that you just inherited $1,000,000 from a distant relative who recently passed away. Now with proper investment, you would not have any more financial concerns. None. Think about what you could do
So, while you are saying, ‘that would never happen’, let me tell you what really has happened: You did receive a letter telling you of an inheritance that will make more impact on your life and on those around you than that $1,000,000 could ever touch.
And that inheritance comes from Christ, through whom God, no longer holds any of your sins against you. Gone.
How will you now live? Think about what you CAN do!
