Good day. This is Michael De Rosa and today I want us to look at Psalm 23:3
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.
I want us to zero in on those last 4 words, ‘for His name’s sake’, as it will help us develop a healthier perspective as to what God is doing in our life because sometimes those paths of righteousness are not pleasant places to be, but if we acknowledge that He is our shepherd and His guidance is for His name’s sake, not necessarily our comfort, we just might begin to see that uncomfortable life situation as a proving ground for us to mature in faithfulness.
While we all want to walk in His righteousness, we need to let go of our perception of what that should be, aside from knowing one thing that is for His glory.
The safest place to be is in the center of God’s will; not in the middle of what we think is good.
