Good mo1 Thessalonians 5:11rning, friend. This is Michael De Rosa. The word that I want to share with you today is 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Now, to be encourage, is more than a pat on the back and an honestly sincere ‘I will be praying for you’ as we speed off to our next activity. In literally means to come alongside of another individual

So, perhaps to help us put this into better perspective, we can ask this question:
How well are we coming alongside one another and building them up?

May I use an analogy to help us?
When a baby cries at night, parents may have an idea of what is causing that child to cry, but it is only when they come along side of that infant can they begin to discern the possible causes for the baby’s pain, and then by removing them they have helped their child to be lifted up from that stress filled situation.

In like manner, when we are called to another’s side because of their struggle, our aim is to be perceptive and to willingly lift that person to a firmer foundation for the sake of Christ

Are you willing to take the necessary time?

Blessings on your Journey

-Michael
