Psalm 37:27
Turn from evil and do good, so that you will dwell forever

Why do we agonize over what is good and needlessly complicate our lives?

  • We read books on God’s will, look at the faith of others, and even examine our own lives for those times when we just knew we were in sync with God’s will…

…and we still find that understanding what is good just out of reach.

Now, while all these things are not bad to do, we have become overly focused on them and miss the one thing that matters: God’s gift of faith to us.

You see, such faith alerts us to such question like this, which the Enemy seeks to slip into our thoughts “if I am to do good, am I doing enough?” And this faith makes us aware that the only good thing to do is believe on the Lord

Then, doing good is no longer confusing. Rather, it becomes delightful as we offer each moment of our day up to our Lord God and Savior

And with such intentionality, Evil is in our rearview mirrors and the pathway to dwelling forever is beneath our feet
