Good day, this is Michael De Rosa, and we will be Psalms 37:4
Delight yourself I the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart

Think about this: the desires for more money, better relationships, a satisfying job, and the like are all aimed to fill our longing for contentment.

But, when our focus is solely on these things, their satisfaction is fleeting, and we yearn for more.

Now, an age old theologian said this, which addresses this predicament:
We are restless, until we rest in God

Please consider this analogy: when a car is cared for by its owner, getting all the necessary maintenance, and repair, and given the best fuel to perform, it will last for a very long time.

Now, such are these bodies we have. God is the designer and creator, and know what is best to help us live optimal lives. And, as we continue to acknowledge this by learning to delight ourselves in our Creator, the desires of our heart will be for God’s will to be continually manifested in and through our lives.

So w here are your desires, today? Where do you find your delight?
