Last week, I shared one way to deal with distracting thought. Today I will talk about another way which may be more productive for some of you
Today I want to talk about another way, which I learned at Seminary and used for a little while:
Write those distracting thoughts down on paper so that you can free your mind from any stress from the thought “I have to remember this or I will forget it”
Then, at another time, deal with those distractions.
My dear friends, prayer is hard work, make no mistake about it. Yet, prayer is the only way to grow in Christ because -now listen carefully- no matter how much you do FOR God in Christ, unless you understand His leading on a day by day basis, your efforts can become easily sabotaged by the enemy who is continually scheming to destroy us.
So, know His Word…and also know Him
