This is Michael De Rosa and I will be looking at Psalm 104:16
The trees of the Lord drink their fill,
The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,
Now there is an apt analogy here: As these majestic trees are satisfied with God’s provision, so are we made to be. And as these trees are planted, we have been planted by the Lord. namely trees don’t uproot themselves, looking for other places to grow and we, likewise, we are not created to uproot ourselves.
Friend, God knows what He is doing when He puts us in or allows us to go through life situations.
While our lives may not go according to our plan, please consider that this is OUR plan. And with that same breath of thought, consider what God’s plan is, God’s counsel. So, dear friend, instead of seeking the proverbial greener pastures on the other side, plant your roots -your time and resources- more deeply into God’s word into where you are right now to discern what God is saying to you and how God is bringing your His resources so that you can be satisfied.
Blessings on your day, -Michael
