jesus christTwo Sunday’s ago, Pastor Mike preached on the power and authority that Jesus Christ has over all evil.

Then, he told us that we, too, have access to this power and authority to do the same! And that is where I want to camp for the rest of this post.

One would think that with this double-edged sword there would be less problems … and they would be right.

One would also think that the Christian would be in a more celebratory mode, and, again, he would be right.
But.
We don’t see it often. Rather, we see Christians looking defeated and powerless.

Why?

Here are my thoughts on this:
1. Christians don’t believe that Christ’s power and authority is for today.
2. Christians have not taken time to find out how to get Christ’s power and authority
3. Christians have never heard about that Christ’s power and authority is for today.

If you identify with any of the above, what do you have to loose, except a faulty belief (#1), poor use of time (#2), or unstopped ears (#3)?

So, as you continue to follow our Lord and Savior, press in to understand more of the fullness of His Good News.

Blessings on Your journey,
-Michael
