Good day, this is Michael De Rosa, and we will be looking at Psalm 104:5

He established the earth upon its foundations,

So that it will not totter forever and ever.

Now, the earth not tottering, appears to be in direct conflict with such people as the  scientists of the doomsday clock which is a pictorial representation of how close we are to self annihilation.  Currently, they tell us that we are the closest we have ever been since this began in 1947.

So what is going on?  Will the earth last forever?

Let me tell you what I observe from all this:

Because of man’s spurning God’s laws he has not taken care of the earth as God designed and so,there are things that are, indeed, causing us great concern: such as the pandemic, the threat of nuclear attacks, climate change and bio terrorism.

And, yet, we must also remember that while the earth is on a self destructive course,  the Word of God through whom this planet was created is eternal

So, one take away is this: Regardless of what comes first, the world’s destruction or or death, we will stand, then, before the very God who created it all.

Are you ready to meet Him?
