Michael Christina and Zeke Ps 119:145

Good Morning, this is Michael De Rosa, and today I want to talk with you about answered prayers. Though I have been a Christian for a number of years,   I still am awed when and how God responds to our concerns;

My text today is Psalms 119:145

I cried with all my heart; answer me, O Lord!
I will observe Your statutes.

I just got back from a vacation that included helping my daughter drive herself and my grandson Zeke, now 7 months old, out to Shawnee, Oklahoma, a trip of more tan 25 hours!

During that drive, we had lots of good quality time to talk and one of the things we discussed was her surprise that I would make the trip because of my low tolerance for travel. I mean that I can get stressed out just THINKING about travel. But, neither my wife or I wanted to have her take that trip alone.

But this time was different. Way different. And…different in a good way. First, I told my daughter candidly that my love for her surmounted any stress in traveling, and then remarked, almost surprised, that I WAS NOT stressed. And, not only was I relaxed, but I was enjoying the trip.

And, that driving places suddenly became quite appealing to me.

It was at this point, that I realized that God answered the cry of my heart about this trip.

Don’t we serve an awesome God!

I wonder how He will answer all those other concerns I have? Can’t wait to see.
