Psalms 81-7Good morning, my friends, this is Michael De Rosa and today I want to look at Psalm 81:7

“You called in trouble and I rescued you;
I answered you in the hiding place of thunder

God answers prayer.

Recently, I took up bowing my head in prayer for my lunch. My clients and peers usually are in the lunch room but I was desirous to push through my anxious thoughts of ‘what will they say’ in order to acknowledge God’s presence.

And though it did not surprise me that God answered me, I was nevertheless awed at His presence and the peace that settled in upon me relatively quickly as my originally thought of thank-you-God-for-this-food short prayer is becoming comfortably longer as I seek for His glory to be made known among my clients and peers.

So, this rescue which the Pslamist mentions is partially done: namely, His rescuing me from my original anxious thoughts.

Now, I am waiting for more ‘rescue’ efforts from our Lord for my Clients and peers! I don’t know how or when that will be presented, I don’t doubt that I will be awed at that too.

Blessings on your Journey

-Michael
