Good morning, friend. This is Michael De Rosa and today I want to talk on accountability, and my text will be 2 Corinthians 5:10

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad

Because this verse focuses on the fact that God will hold us accountable with what we do here and now, and because we are called a2 Corinthians 5-10s Christians to follow Jesus our Lord and Savior, let us learn how to give to others opportunities to be accountable for that which matters most, the effectiveness of our Christian witness.

Now, you may bristle at the thought of someone “inspecting” you, but put that in comparison how you just might feel and think at the end of your life, when God does the same thing to you.

It has been my experience that people can become polarized on this topic of accountability: either they will become lone rangers, never learning how to grow with a community of faith, or they will become so dependent on others’ wisdom for their life that they will drift from bringing their lives to God through Christ

We will talk about this more, but for now consider this question: where have you been struggling the most in your life, and how might a brother or sister come along side of you help you in your journey.

Blessings on your journey,

-Michael (and Harvey)🙂
