Psalm 139:13-14

Good Morning, this is Michael De Rosa. Today, I want to look at Psalm 139:13-14

For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Recently, I came back from Joni and Friends Family Retreat Camp, and one thing that I witnessed many times was individuals accepting themselves for whom God created them to be.

Regardless of their struggle, many expressed an inner confidence of being whole in Christ.

While our society had trouble dealing with brokenness, I was amazed for the two miracles I witnessed at Camp this week.

  1. People were joyfilled as they told others that they felt normal because no one treated them differently due to their disability
  2. The second miracle I witnessed was that these confessions all happened so quickly, considering the vast differences in living arrangements that our campers come from.

Accepting the fact that God created you and that nothing He creates is wasteful, is a powerful deterrent to stress, and a wonderful calming presence towards others.

When was the last time you celebrated God’s handiwork of yourself?
