Good day. This is Michael De Rosa from Mountainside Community Church in Newport, NH, and my text is Ephesians 1:17
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
What are your prayers like?
Are we more caught up with God’s displays of power and provision than asking for the Holy Spirit to be given to our brothers and sisters in the faith.
Friend, desiring the things that God gives more than His Spirit, can be likened to settling for 25 cents when all the gold in Fort Knox is available to you
So what more do we need in this life than to be filled with the Holy Spirit for receiving God’s wisdom and revelation will cut a clear path through our day in order to know Him better.
So, let’s consider the many things that we want to know and compare that with knowing more of our omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Triune God.
Consider how your life will change when seeking to be filled with the Holy Spirit becomes your prayer for yourself and for others.
