Let’s look at Luke 2:7

Luke 2:7And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

No room for them…

Consider what this might look like for you:

  • the hospitals are full
  • you are traveling,
  • you know no one,
  • you find yourselves in a totally inhospitable location looking for any type of shelter because you are about to give birth.

And add to that this:  you really believed that God would take care of you.

What questions might your faith now be asking?

Now, with Gods plan to enter human history in this manner, is it really any wonder that our non Christian friends might be looking elsewhere for answers to life?

But, here is the deal.

God did not take a poll from us to determine His plan so that it might be more readily embraced, and in like stead, neither should we strive to make the Christian faith more appealing to others

As Jesus Christ came into the world to seek and to save us who are lost, regardless of what society thought about Him or did to Him, might we consider today to not seek approval from others for living out our Christian faith as God had planned
