Ephesians 1:16

I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.

Continually giving thanks for one another would really enhance of relationships.  Would it not?

Instead of fault finding, we would be thanking God for people.

But why!  When we know of their faults, their sins why would we be thankful?

It is because of their faith.

So when we focus on the faith of our brothers and sisters, and not their shortcomings, let’s consider these things:

  • the good things God has done in them and through them.
  • the opportunities that they have to witness to individuals we may never be able to reach…because of those shortcomings that we see.
  • Their ability to understand those truths of Scripture that we are still grappling with
  • Their aptness to deal with problems in a Christ like manner, which we still wrestle with.

So, for reasons like these, let us give thanks for our brothers and sisters in Christ
