Good morning, this is Michael and this past week I got to thinking about Jesus who is described as the Living Water in John 4:10
Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
The other day I saw a child purposely finding puddles to wade through.
She went out of her way several times to find a puddle and then when she came to it she would puti her toes just out over the water, pondering those child-like thoughts and then walk into the center and just stop
Now that child mirrors our early days of conversion when we ‘walked right into the Living Water of Christ’ and were delighted in simply being in His presence
But…then, we grew up and lost that child-like spontaneity that brought us close to our Savior, inadvertently exchanging it for social conformity
But, we have also found out that this doesn’t work…and never will.
My advice is to return to the Living Water. Jump in and stay.
Blessings on your Journey!
