Good morning, this is Michael De Rosa and I want us to look at 2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
My friends, the Bible is NOT a book to just read, but it is God’s Holy and Powerfully Creative word which the Holy Spirit uses to transform our lives into all that God wants for us. Namely, it is INSPIRED.
Now… when we examine this word “inspired”: we discover that our English word ‘pneumatic’ comes from it
So…here is a word picture for you: picture using a pneumatic drill, and you will appreciate how your entire body vibrates as you hang on, allowing it to drill through various materials.
And, in a similar vein because all Scripture is inspired, your entire being will experience the transforming work on God in your life…as you hang on to its truths and mandates, allowing it to drill down to uncover areas in your life in need of healing and in need of correction.
So, the next time you open up your Bible’s, expect great things, because we have a great God
