Ephesians 6:12-13Good day.  This is Michael De Rosa and I will be reading from Ephesians 6:12-13

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm

God has a vested interest in our struggles…and so does the Devil.

So, to make light of any struggle is to toss away our God-given responsibility for its outcome as we unwittingly begin to adopt a victim mentality towards the problem.

Our struggles create a ripple effect in our life, and though the eternal consequences of these will not be seen until Judgment Day, nevertheless with each thought and action we take because of the struggle, we build within us, either a healthy arsenal of proactive strategies to deal with the Struggle, or we begin to spiral downward.

And this arsenal is called God’s armor, and it is about as optional for us breathing.

So, the next time you face adversity, consider your choice of either being defeated or claiming the victory.
