Psalm 68:4-5Good Morning friends, this is Michael De Rosa from the Mountainside Community Church and as our church looks forward to hosting Worship in the Woods, we are rejoicing. So, let’s look at Psalm 68:4-5

Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Lift up a song for Him who rides through the deserts, Whose name is the Lord, and exult before Him. A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation.

We are singing because we know that God will do His work at our Camp Meeting

Now, don’t get me wrong. We are not without concerns and struggles as we move forward, but the more substantial truth is that God is leading us to victory.

And, whether it is camp or another endeavor you are embarking on for the Lord, we are created to rejoice in the desert, namely, even in those places that are barren as we move in God’s work, because God has already navigated a path for us and is already riding through those lack luster areas of our life to show to us that we are not orphaned, that we are never alone.

Blessings on your journey

-Michael
